The Sunday Reset Routine for Pakistani Women — 90 Minutes That Fix Your Week

by Bee's Creations on Jul 31, 2026

A Sunday reset is 90 minutes spent on the things that otherwise eat your Monday to Friday. Hair oiled, skin properly cleaned, clothes sorted, week planned. It is not a luxury routine — it is maintenance, and it is the reason some women seem to have their week together while doing the same amount of work as everyone else.

Here is the Pakistani version, in the order that works.

Why Sunday specifically

The point is not the day. It is having one fixed slot where the small things get done together instead of leaking into every weekday evening. If your week starts Monday, Sunday afternoon is the natural slot. If you work Saturdays, use Friday.

What makes it work is doing everything in one block. Oiling your hair on Tuesday and sorting your clothes on Thursday takes the same total time but costs far more energy, because each one requires deciding to start.

The 90-minute reset, in order

Block 1 — Hair (30 minutes, mostly waiting)

Start here, because it needs the longest sitting time and everything else can happen while it works.

Oil your scalp and lengths, then tie it up loosely. Do not use a tight elastic on oiled hair — that is where most breakage happens. A silk scrunchie (Rs. 245) or a Cloudy Claw (Rs. 425) holds it without creating a stress point.

If your hair is prone to snapping, our guide on how to stop hair breakage in Pakistan covers what actually causes it.

Block 2 — Wardrobe and admin (20 minutes, while the oil sits)

Pick and hang the outfits for the coming week. Check what needs washing or ironing. Untangle and put away the jewellery that has been sitting on your dressing table since the last event — a portable jewellery box (Rs. 1,450) turns this from a twenty-minute untangling job into a two-minute one.

This block is unglamorous and it is the one that saves the most weekday time.

Block 3 — Wash and skin (25 minutes)

Wash your hair out. Then do the proper face routine you have been skipping all week.

Headband on — a skincare headband (Rs. 945) keeps freshly washed hair out of the way — then double cleanse, mask, and finish with cold therapy.

The cold step is what makes the reset visible. Three rounds of ten to fifteen seconds in a BeeGlow Ice Facial Bowl (Rs. 2,249) brings down a week of accumulated puffiness. Then serum and moisturiser onto damp skin.

The full sequence is in our at-home spa day guide.

Block 4 — Nails, hands and feet (10 minutes)

Cut, file, moisturise. Nothing elaborate. This is a ten-minute job that becomes a resented forty-minute job if you leave it for a month.

Block 5 — Set up Monday (5 minutes)

Bag packed. Phone charged. Alarm set. Water bottle filled. Five minutes on Sunday removes about twenty minutes of Monday morning friction.

The weekly version vs the daily version

The Sunday reset does not replace a daily routine — it makes the daily routine smaller. Once the weekly maintenance is handled in one block, your weekday routine can honestly be eight minutes.

If you are building both, start with the Sunday block. It is easier to establish one weekly habit than seven daily ones.

Frequently asked questions

How long should a Sunday reset take?

90 minutes is the full version. A 45-minute version — hair, face, and Monday prep only — delivers most of the benefit if that is what you have.

What if I work on Sundays?

Use whichever day precedes your busiest stretch. The day does not matter; having one fixed block does.

Should I oil my hair before or after washing?

Before, for at least 30 minutes. Oiling after washing weighs hair down and does not penetrate the scalp in the same way.

Is a weekly ice facial enough, or does it need to be daily?

Weekly gives you the visible reset. Daily gives you the cumulative brightening. Our guide on how often to do ice facials breaks this down by skin type.

Can I order with cash on delivery?

Yes — nationwide across Pakistan, pay when it arrives.

Start with one block

Do not attempt all five blocks the first week. Pick hair and skin, do those two for a fortnight, then add the rest.
