How to Send a Gift to Another City in Pakistan — The Complete COD Guide

by Bee's Creations on Aug 08, 2026

Sending a gift to your own address is simple. Sending one to someone else's, in a city you are not in, on a date that matters, is where things go wrong — and almost always for the same handful of avoidable reasons.

This guide covers the whole process: how cash on delivery works when the recipient is not you, what to write at checkout, realistic timelines, and what to do if the parcel is refused. If you already know the mechanics, browse gift sets ready to ship nationwide.

The one thing that trips everyone up

Cash on delivery means the person who receives the parcel pays the courier. That is fine when you are buying for yourself. It is a problem when the parcel is a surprise gift and the recipient is suddenly asked for Rs. 3,000 at their own door.

There are two clean ways around it:

  1. Ship to your own address first, then hand it over. Best when you will see her anyway. You pay the courier, and the gift is genuinely a surprise.
  2. Ship to her address and arrange payment in advance. Message us on WhatsApp before ordering and we will work out the cleanest option for your situation.

What does not work is shipping COD to an unsuspecting recipient and hoping. Some parcels are refused at the door for exactly this reason, and a refused gift is worse than a late one.

What to write at checkout

Three fields decide whether this goes smoothly:

  • Address — hers, not yours. The single most common correction we make. People enter their own by reflex on the last screen. Read it back before confirming.
  • Phone — hers, and one she answers. Couriers call before delivery. A number that goes unanswered is the most common cause of a failed first attempt. If she does not answer unknown numbers, use a landline or a family member's number.
  • Order note — ask for the invoice to be left out. Nobody should read the price of their own gift. Add it as a note at checkout and we will pack accordingly.

If the parcel should not be opened by whoever answers the door — a spouse's gift arriving at a shared home, for instance — say so in the note.

Realistic timelines across Pakistan

  • Lahore — typically the fastest turnaround.
  • Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi — allow three days.
  • Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar, Gujranwala, Sialkot — allow three to four.
  • Quetta and smaller towns — allow four to five, and message us first.

These are courier estimates rather than guarantees. If the gift is tied to a fixed date, ask us on WhatsApp before you order. We would rather tell you honestly that it will not make it than take the order and disappoint you both.

If you are already tight on time, our last-minute gifting guide covers what to do when the date is closer than the delivery window.

Why gift sets travel better than most gifts

Anything sent across cities has to survive a courier and arrive presentable without you standing there to fix it. That rules out a lot.

  • No sizing. Clothes and shoes require a guess you cannot correct remotely. Accessories do not.
  • Nothing perishable. Flowers and cake are a bad idea across cities and a worse one in summer.
  • Arrives boxed. No wrapping required at the far end — which matters, because you are not there to do it.

Ready-boxed sets like the Mocha Bloom Set (Rs.2,450), Sugar Bloom Set (Rs.3,650) and Bee's Signature Bundle (Rs.3,750) are designed to be handed over exactly as they arrive. Add the Bee's Gift Bag, or spend above Rs. 5,000 and it is included free.

If something goes wrong

The parcel was refused. Usually a surprise-COD problem or an unanswered courier call. Message us and we will arrange a re-attempt.

She was not home. Couriers generally re-attempt. Giving a number she reliably answers prevents most of this.

It is going to arrive late. Tell her it is coming. A screenshot on the day with the parcel following is read as thoughtful, not late — you chose something specific for her, and that is the part that matters.
